ERASMUS POLICY STATEMENT (EPS)
Here are the main objectives of the school for students and staff:
- Offer our students a perspective of Europe as a single territory, knowing that although we are different, with our cultures and believes., we belong to a common space where civic coexistence among the inhabitants of all the countries of the Union is an example for the rest of the world's citizens.
-Offer students a broader perspective of the labor market, offering them the chance to experience other work opportunities outside our country, in which they can develop skills acquired in these years of face-to-face studies and offering a wider experience of jobs that favors their employability.
- Allow our students to improve their level of Community languages , gaining capabilities that allow them to navigate with ease the work environment in any country of the European Union, appreciating a level of proficiency in the different languages spoken in each country, are not a problem but an opportunity to achieve a professional success.
- With the staff of the centre, our School has the target of getting a multilingual teaching team. So, it is offering teachers the opportunity of improving their level of languages in the School itself, provided that they can acquire the level required to enjoy these internships too, and be able to attend training sessions, participate in lectures and take part in working groups, without the level of language as an impediment.
Our School has designed a program of actions to strengthen our European internship in two ways:
- Strengthening the relationship with the companies that are cooperating with us at the moment, explaining the advantages of participation in this project, and visiting them personally so that between both organizations ( School and Company )we will be able to carry out an action plan for medium and long term to perfection the internships that our students are undertaking. So in 2011 our coordinator visited the UK, in 2012 she visited ltaly , in 2013 she visited Malta, in 2015 the UK again.
Both in the UK and Malta she has had very successful meetings with companies that agree to go on with the cooperation.
With those companies located in countries that we have not been able to visit, we maintain a fluid relationship through the internship students we had there and overall by using new technologies that allow us to have an exchange of information regarding the needs for the future.
- The second work program aims at strengthening cooperation agreements with European schools that impart the same level of studies and look for new partners that allow us to improve our presence in Europe.
In 2011 we started businesses exchanging with a French Lyceum, this allow us an exchange of students to do their internship. Besides the management team visited us for training and appreciates the educational realities of each country" in situ".And our Director visited them too.
Turning to the search of new partners, our Director and teaching team are participating in European conferences and seminars in order to find other schools to cooperate with.
According to the recommendations contained in the ECHE to modernize higher education. Our School has set the following objectives to be achieved in the next five years:
-Provide our students with the courses and seminars which give an extra qualification level and help them to get in the job market after graduation.
-Establish a system to collect information about aids to supplement the Erasmus grant so that the economic level of the student, is not a factor that prevents them to apply for this mobility. So nowadays our students receive all information required to apply for the Ministry of Education helps and Banks grants.
-Boost the department of new technologies, adapting the learning system to the current times and to all students to dominate the new technologies and know how to use them as a useful tool in their professional career. ln addition, the School is committed to make the necessary investments to upgrade the entire computer system that allows the students to use them correctly.
-Ensure that the internship remains equivalent to the practice training module which allows the students to validate their stay abroad and get the title that certifies their studies.
-With the Final Project that exits in the new high level training courses, we will instill the students to demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset, creative and innovative that together with their professional skills, allow them to face their future with great success.
-Looking for a training based in excellence, the School is committed to provide ongoing training to the staff. Increasing the linguistic capacity of the faculty, offering courses in English in the school to enable teachers to develop the skills to teach subjects in English. In this line we offer a multilingual education, new teachers hired by the School must certify at least B2 level of English.
DECLARACIÓN POLÍTICA ERASMUS (EPS)
A continuación detallamos los objetivos principales de la Escuela para y con los alumnos y el personal de la misma:
Conseguir que nuestros alumnos tengan una perspectiva de Europa como un territorio único, conociendo que aunque seamos diferentes, con nuestras culturas y creencias, pertenecemos a un espacio común donde la cívica convivencia entre los habitantes de todos los países de la UE sea un ejemplo para el resto de ciudadanos del mundo.
Ofrecer a los alumnos una perspectiva más amplia del mercado laboral, con la posibilidad de conocer otras realidades laborales fuera de nuestro país, en las que puedan desarrollar las habilidades adquiridas en estos años de estudios presenciales, y ofreciéndoles una mayor oferta de puestos de trabajo que favorezcan su inserción laboral.
Conseguir que nuestros alumnos perfeccionen su nivel de idiomas comunitarios, alcanzando unas capacidades que les permitan desenvolverse con soltura en ambientes laborales de cualquier país de la Unión Europea, logrando que las distintas lenguas habladas en cada país no sean un inconveniente sino una oportunidad para conseguir el éxito profesional.
A nivel del personal de la Escuela, el centro se ha propuesto conseguir un equipo docente plurilingüe, por lo que está ofreciendo a los docentes la posibilidad de formarse en idiomas en el propio centro, facilitando que puedan adquirir el nivel necesario para disfrutar de estas movilidades y asistir a jornadas de formación, participar en conferencias y formar parte de grupos de trabajo a nivel educativo europeo sin que el idioma sea un impedimento.
Atendiendo a las recomendaciones que aparecen en la agenda de modernización de la educación superior en Europa, nuestra Escuela se ha propuesto los siguientes objetivos a alcanzar en los próximos 5 años:
- Proporcionarles a nuestros alumnos cursos y seminarios complementarios que les permitan obtener un nivel de cualificación extra, que les ayude a incorporarse al mercado laboral cuando finalicen sus estudios.
- Establecer un sistema de recogida de información acerca de ayudas que complementen la Beca Erasmus, para que el nivel económico de los alumnos no sea un factor que les impida solicitar la movilidad, y las becas complementarias ayuden a sufragar los costes que esta movilidad puede suponer en las familias del alumno que realiza sus prácticas en el extranjero. Así en la actualidad junto a la Beca Erasmus, a nuestro alumno se le proporciona toda la información suficiente para solicitar la Beca del Ministerio, la Beca de la Conselleria de Educación y la Beca de la Fundación Bancaja.
- Potenciación del Departamento de Nuevas Tecnologías, adaptando el sistema de aprendizaje a los tiempos actuales, y comprometiéndonos a que todos nuestros alumnos dominen las nuevas tecnologías y que las sepan utilizar como herramienta útil en su carrera profesional. Además la Escuela se compromete a realizar las inversiones necesarias para actualizar todo el sistema informático que permita al alumno una correcta utilización del mismo.
- Velar para que la movilidad de prácticas siga siendo equivalente al módulo de Formación en Centros de Trabajo, y le permita al alumno convalidar su estancia en el extranjero con una calificación de apto en este módulo, que le permita obtener el titulo que acredita sus estudios.
- Con el módulo de Proyecto que existe en los nuevos Ciclos Formativos de Grado Superior al alumno se le va a inculcar la necesidad de que demuestre una capacidad emprendedora, creadora e innovadora que junto con sus capacidades profesionales le permitan afrontar su futuro con mayores garantías de éxito.
- En busca de ofrecer una formación basada en la excelencia, la Escuela se compromete a ofrecer una formación continua a su equipo docente. Este curso se ha apostado por reforzar y aumentar la capacidad lingüística del claustro de profesores, ofreciendo cursos de inglés en el propio centro educativo, fuera del horario lectivo, que permitan a los profesores adquirir los conocimientos necesarios para impartir la docencia en inglés. En esta misma línea de poder ofrecer una enseñanza plurilingüe, los nuevos docentes contratados por la Escuela deben acreditar como mínimo un nivel de lengua inglesa o el certificado de capacitación para dar las clases en inglés.
